Fran Bushman Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Fran Bushman served as a tennis coach and teacher at RCC from 1966 until his retirement in 1991, and he had such a fondness for the College that he continued to serve as a part-time counselor until shortly before his death in May of 2008. The Fran Bushman Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established by his family, friends and colleagues to support local athletes who share Fran’s passion for athletics, academics, and who possess his extraordinary character. The scholarship is awarded to a transferring Riverside City College student on an athletic team, with good character, and who has completed a season.
