Regina Richards Education Scholarship

This scholarship was instituted to honor Mrs. Richards’s extensive career of service to the dyslexic population or Riverside, as founder and President of the Richards Educational Therapy Center, Inc. which owned and operated Big Springs school and clinic for over 26 years. She was a long-time board member and officer of the International Dyslexic Association’s Inland Empire Branch, a UCR and UCSD extension instructor for over 35 years and a main speaker and presenter at conferences and workshops throughout the US. Mrs. Richards published many books and articles written for educators, parents, and students on the subject.
