Dominic Durden Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Dominic D. Durden attended Canyon Springs High School and was a model student, earning a 4.0 GPA while taking Advanced Placement courses, honors courses, and participating in the Air Force Junior ROTC program. After attending Riverside Community College, Dominic went to work for the Riverside County Sherriff’s Department as a dispatcher. On July 12, 2012, Dominic was riding his motorcycle to work when he was struck and killed. The Dominic Durden Memorial Scholarship was established by his family, friends and colleagues to continue his generous legacy of selflessness and helping others. This scholarship is awarded to a continuing Moreno Valley College student enrolled in the EMS or EMT program with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
