Ron Yoshino Honors Scholarship

Ron Yoshino was a history teacher at Riverside City College and advisor for Alpha Gamma Sigma for over 25 years. After his retirement on June 30, 2011, the Ron Yoshino Honors Scholarship was established. The Ron Yoshino Honors Scholarship is awarded to continuing or transferring RCCD honors students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who submit a paper written for an honors class within the fall or spring semester of the application year. Students must have a faculty signature of support from the honors faculty member for whom the paper was written.

Other special requirements: Applicant must be an RCCD Honors student. Applicant must submit a paper from the fall or spring Honors class for review along with the Honors faculty signature of support for which the paper was written.
