Betty Day Endowed Scholarship

Betty Day, Professor Emerita of English, attended RCC from 1956-58 and completed her upper division undergraduate education and her upper division Master’s degree at the University of California, Riverside. She returned to Riverside City College in 1964 to teach and remained an active faculty member until her retirement in 1990. She established the Betty Day Endowed Scholarship in recognition of her fondness for the College and her love for teaching. The Betty Day Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a continuing Riverside City College science major with a 4.0 GPA and financial need.
