Vernon & Sylvia Finch Endowed Scholarship
The Vernon and Sylvia Finch Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established by the four children of Vernon and Sylvia Finch, all of whom were RCC Alumni, in recognition of their parents’ commitment to the College. Vernon and Sylvia were charter members of the RCC Bengal Booster Club for athletics, where they remained active for more than 20 years. The Vernon and Sylvia Finch Memorial Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a continuing Riverside City College student who has participated in RCC athletics, who is involved in extracurricular activities, has completed at least 24 units, and demonstrated financial need.
