The Heart Matters Foster Youth Scholarship

The Heart Matters Foster Family Agency wants to enhance the academic journey for foster youth by investing in their future, their goals and in their dreams. Foster youth are a unique group; many do not have a cohesive, stable support system that can help them when they are in need, especially with educational costs. These young adults are consistently fighting to beat the odds. Our focus includes expanding access to academic programs to help current and former foster youth secure a degree or certificate.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for full-time or part-time students who identify as current or former Foster Youth enrolled at Moreno Valley College.
