William M. Kinser & Coy Zumwalt Nursing Scholarship

The William M. Kinser and Coy Zumwalt Nursing Scholarship was established by the family, friends and colleagues of William M. (Bill) Kinser, devoted husband of Anita Kinser, RCC associate professor of Nursing, and Coy Zumwalt, Anita’s father. Bill believed very strongly in the value of education and nursing, in particular. He recognized that a caring attitude is essential in nursing, and this scholarship was established in his name to support students who possess that essential quality so vital to nursing and for whom a scholarship will make a significant difference. It is awarded to a continuing Riverside City College student in the second year of the RN program with a 3.0 GPA or higher and financial need.
