The Community Foundation Lena T. Pond Scholarship

The Community Foundation Lena T. Pond Scholarship was established in 1989 at The Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF), through the will of Lena T. Pond. Lena was a registered nurse at Riverside Community Hospital and was very active in the community. The scholarship is awarded to full-time Riverside City College nursing students with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are residents of Riverside or San Bernardino counties and demonstrate financial need. Please note: The disbursement for this scholarship is dependent upon the timing and receipt of funds from the donor. Consequently, recipients will be notified during the fall semester if they are awarded this scholarship and the fall disbursement will take place on a disbursement date near the end of the fall semester.

Other special requirements: Incoming Freshman who are recent High School graduates must have graduated
from a high school within Riverside or San Bernardino Counties.
