Erik William Eriz Jr. Music Program Scholarship Fund

Erik William Eriz Jr. was born in 1994 and sadly passed away in 2018. Despite his struggles with mental health issues, Erik loved his family, friends and enjoyed making those around him laugh. Erik’s family was inspired by his conviction to be his true self which also paved the way for his cousins to live their true lives and not hide in the closet. Erik also had a beautiful singing voice and loved music.

Cyndi Gundersen, who is a retired RCCD employee and her family would like to honor Erik’s memory and his love for music by supporting the Music Program at Norco College. The family wants to invest in Norco College students who wish to pursue a career in music through the Erik William Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Current Norco College Music Program student in good academic standing

Continuing or transfer students, have a minimum of GPA of 2.0

Student must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the RCC Financial Aid Office
