John Gabbert Memorial Endowed Scholarship
John G. Gabbert was a proud member of the RCC Class of 1929, was honored as Alumnus of the Year in 1971, and served as Commencement speaker in 2009 on the occasion of his 100th birthday. Throughout his long career as an attorney, superior court and federal appeals court justice, Justice Gabbert maintained that his education at RCC was among the best of his career. This scholarship was established by the RCCD Foundation Board of Directors at his passing in 2013 at the age of 104.
