Dolores M. Fuentes Endowed Osher Award for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
Dolores Fuentes was a long-time employee of the Riverside County Transportation Department. She believed in supporting the community in which she lived and worked, and education was among her top priorities. Dolores’s children established the Dolores M. Fuentes Endowed Osher STEM Scholarship in her memory to support continuing Riverside City College students studying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics who are active in campus activities or clubs, who are residents of Riverside County, and who have completed at least 24 units and are eligible for the California College Promise Grant-CCPG (formerly known as the Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver-BOGW).
