Donald F. Zimmer Memorial Endowed Osher Scholarship

The Donald F. Zimmer Memorial Endowed Osher Scholarship was established by the family and friends of RCC alumnus Donald F. Zimmer. Don was raised by a foster mother before serving as a pilot and officer in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed at March Air Force Base. He later attended Riverside City College, transferring directly to USC Law School in 1963. Don enjoyed a 45-year legal career in Riverside, widely respected for his expertise in real estate, trusts and estates, and water law. This scholarship is awarded in his memory to a continuing Riverside City College student studying Law or Pre Med with a 3.0 GPA or higher who has served in the military or comes from a military family, who was born in New Jersey or New York, who is involved with the foster care system, who has completed at least 24 units, and demonstrates financial need, eligible for the California College Promise Grant-CCPG (formerly known as the Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver-BOGW).
