Tehmina & Nariman Daroowalla Endowed Osher Scholarship

Dr. Aban N. Daruwalla retired in 2007 after a distinguished career as a scientist, most recently with the Norco Naval Surface Warfare Center in Norco. Aban established the Tehmina & Nariman Daroowalla Endowed Osher Scholarship in 2011 out of extreme gratitude to her parents, who instilled in her an appreciation for education. Through her personal experience as a mentor, Aban is keenly aware of what it means to receive a scholarship, far beyond just the financial assistance that is provided, and she is honored to assist future students for whom a scholarship will make a significant difference. The Tehmina & Nariman Daroowalla Endowed Osher Scholarship is awarded to a continuing Norco College student who has completed at least 24 units, is a first generation college student, graduated from JFK ECMS or CNUSD, is involved in AVID, and demonstrates financial need.
