Kenneth & Kathleen Andrews Veteran's Endowed Scholarship (Norco)
Kenneth Andrews attended Riverside City College from 1946 to 1948 after serving in the Navy during World War II. Kenneth went on to enjoy a successful career as an aeronautical mechanic for Northrop, and later with Southern California Edison. Kathleen, his wife of 47 years, worked as a purchasing agent for the city of Riverside for more than 30 years. In their estate plan, Kenneth and Kathleen bequeathed to the RCCD Foundation the remainder of their estate to provide scholarships for veteran students. The Kenneth & Kathleen Andrews Veteran’s Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a Riverside Community College District student who has a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater and is enrolled in a minimum of 6 units, and has received an Honorable Discharge (DD214) from the United States military.
