Finish Line Scholars Scholarship - Riverside City College

The Foundation for California Community Colleges, in partnership with Riverside City College, is excited to offer Riverside City College students the Finish Line Scholars Program Scholarship opportunity. The California Community Colleges Finish Line Scholars Program is designed to help students stay on track and complete their educational goals by providing targeted financial support. The program aims to close regional education gaps and support students who are nearing the “finish line” of their academic journey.

Award Amount: $ 1,000 per semester (Fall 2026/Spring 2027)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Students must meet all requirements to qualify for the Finish Line Scholars Program Scholarship:
Must be eligible for the tuition fee waiver under the California College Promise Grant.
Must be currently enrolled at RCC and working towards the completion of a Chancellor’s Office-approved certificate, degree program, or transfer credits to a four-year college or university.
Must be enrolled full-time (12 units) – (Nursing dual Programs: combined coursework can be considered to meet the full-time requirement for the awarded terms)
NEW – Must have completed at least 50% of the required units in your active program and plan to complete your program by Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or Summer 2027. Students with 75% of credits are eligible for ONE semester of funding. The scholarship is not transferable

Academic Priority
Priority will be given to students pursuing a STEM major or accepted to the RCC RN program.
Students who meet the following additional criteria:
*Have completed a transfer-level English course
*Have completed a transfer-level Math course
*Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
