Jacques Yeager Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Jacques “Jack” Yeager was a prominent Riverside business leader and UC Berkeley alumnus whose family construction business EL Yeager Construction Co. built many of the freeways and housing developments throughout Southern California. He was highly regarded as a philanthropist, and was especially active in his support for UC Riverside’s engineering program, and for the UC System, serving as a member of the Board of Regents from 1988-1994.This memorial scholarship was established in 2016 following Jacque’s passing at age 94 by his close friend of more than 50 years, Henry W. Coil, Jr., in recognition of his commitment to education and to Riverside.
